This week feels so tiring. Im exhausted as it is, although i only had one class today. Im thinking it was probably because of the trip at the start of this week to Centre of Alternative Technology, a total of 7 hours in the bus for a 4 hour experience. That was tiring!

Oh pictures..

The scenery on the way there. It was pretty.

Remember to recycle everyone :)

Solar panel used to generate electricity for phone calls

Effective way of saving space, no?

For once! haha

The mole hole.

Inside the hole.

More solar panels.

The SPEP group, entertained by the duckies in a frozen lake. Hehe.

I can't believe that Easter break is just in less than 3 weeks. And within that time.. I have 1 one-page brief dissertation proposal (done) to hand in next friday, plus a draft of my reflective journal (currently doing it but having a hard time) to hand in 3rd March and an essay on 10th March (i need the books!! selalu nada in the library!). Also, there's the paintball tourney this Sat which im not going im proud to say =P, the Cardiff National Day celebration next Saturday (Pooja loving!) and probably Sheffield sleepover the weekend after. We'll see how this goes. I'm kind of ahead of myself apparently. I've never finished an assignment more than a week before hand in date. So that has to be good rite? HEHE

Im watching 'Family Fortune' with Baz at the moment. Wow. The last time i watched this game show was AGES ago. The fashion style, the hair... you just know how long this game has been. Another game show... which is still awesome to me is 'Crystal Maze', which i watched with Baz also earlier. I love the bald guy. HEHE.

HAHA. Chubbs just registered for Facebook...

Saturday 16 February 2008

I have finalised my dissertation topic! weeee. MY DAD IS AWESOME! Now to make my one-page brief proposal. Im just happy that i've narrowed down my options.. and focus on one thing :D

Watched 'Jumper' again yesterday afternoon to accompany Umie. Then watched 'Bucket List' with Baz and oh..my... god.... the things they did!! Okay, watching Jumper made me smile cos i've been to the places that they went to in Rome, it was all so familiar with me. Then when i watched Bucket List, it made me feel like i havent been anywhere!! It motivated me to save more money so i can go to all those places and do all the things they did.

I think im gona shower now. I feel so dead lazy to do anything.. its not even Sunday. Haha. I should shower now.

Laterssss.

Thursday 14 February 2008

I dont know if it was just me... But everything seemed fast today. The walk to Uni was quicker than usual. Class was well... nothing is fast when you're having Environmental Law HAHA. Besides that, everything else seemed fast. That cant be good right? I didnt even have coffee today. Hehe.

After class, i went to town to buy some stuff. But i had some spare time before meeting Baz, so i decided to just sit and read a book at Borders. So, i picked up this book called "Rules for life". I only reached to the 5th Rule when Baz called.

It was really interesting if you have time to read it. The first rule was something about not telling everything you do to people. Just keep it under the hat. Like when someone asks you how you are, the only answer they're expecting is "Fine". Then everyone just goes on with their day. Half of me agrees with that, but the other half thinks that if your family or closest of friends asks you how you are... I doubt i'll just say fine if something was bothering me.. and vice versa.

There was this one rule that went something like... everyone is a human being, and human beings are known for their complexity. This complexity involves making mistakes. However, everyone wants to be perfect. But you're suppose to do the opposite. You have to accept who you are. Making mistakes is part of making who you are now. You shouldnt dwell on your mistakes, because we're allowed to. The important thing is how you handle your mistake. You should learn from your mistake and move on.. and hopefully not make the same one again. You shouldnt let yourself be stuck in life by that one mistake.

Another rule was about the cliche birthday saying "the older you are, the wiser you get". It kind of ties up with the previous rule.. in that, as you get older, you tend to make more mistakes.. but that's how you become wiser. Because you learn from them. Everyone gets older. And everyone is naive at one point. Like for example, if you had a bad relationship.... it might be because both or one of you were naive enough to think it would have worked. And that it was probably just that part of your life that made you a stronger person. He also mentioned that... the more mistakes you make during your youth period, the less you'll have to encounter after that. Haha. New problems will just keep appearing as you grow older. THAT I KNOW! Nothing comes easy.

Ok, i should stop. I might have totally said differently than was intended. You should read it yourself =D Im gona go back and get that book with my 20% voucher i have to print off .. weee :D Actually, i still have 2 books i havent finished reading. I'll consider. Or should i just go back and read the book in the store. Borders is awesome. HEHE.
Oh.. and i didnt get another sunny day today. It was actually REALLY cold today. I wouldnt be surprised if it'll snow tomorrow.
Good night everyone.
I like this video. Adele - Chasing Pavements.

The song is sad though. "Should i give up or should i just keep chasing pavements even if it leads nowhere" .. How sad. But, her voice and the music makes you feel happy. Weird feeling.

My day has been productive, at least from 11-1pm. Then i had nothing to do. So i bummed at home. We're watching 'Jumper' tomorrow night. But im promising myself to stay in the library after class and before movie. Oh, i did an essay in one day and got 58%.. better than what i got for an essay which i spent weeks on. Maybe i should resolve to last minute work. HAHA.

Dissertation!!! I'm going nuts thinking about it. Nyeh!

Im off to bed. Goodnight world. I hope to be blessed with another sunny and beautiful warm day :)

I'd date him anytime!

Yes, i've watched 'Penelope'. It was a cute movie.

I've been catching up on my movies. Was teary eyed for most of the movies, which made me realise that i'm more emotional than i thought i was. 'Definitely, Maybe' was suppose to be a comedy, but yes, i cried! Abigail Breslin is so much thinner compared to when she was in 'Little Miss Sunshine'. She's awesome at acting.

Im gona go. Just wanted to show James Mcavoy to everyone. *drools* hahaha

Sunday 10 February 2008

I've been trying to blog for the past week, but i keep clicking the 'exit' button. So here i am again attempting to blog.

Kaka Jo's birthday was on the 7th, also Faye's. Nira's was on the 8th. So..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Faye had a small birthday party last night. Highlight of the night: us playing 'Hello Jack' hahahha!

Uni has been great actually. Except that i had to watch the processing of Pigs last Monday, which was awful and insensitive. But Friday was erm... different. We studied about focus groups and did a run on it. So we were filmed and taped whilst being asked questions. That was awkward, but fun. I'm looking forward for my first field trip in a week or so.

I still havent finalised my dissertation topic. After calling Papah, im more confused now! I had rough ideas around 3 topics... now i have 6 topics! And i've to hand in a proposal by the end of this month. Oh gosh. This is why i dont like choosing my own topics!

*half an hour later*

Got distracted with browsing through my photo albums. Man, so much memories. It's amazing how with just a picture, you can tell so many stories. Memories start coming back when you look back at pictures. It's nice. I liked the fact that my sister aimi wrote "Go back to your happy place" on top of the pictures she pasted on her wall. It really does help when you're feeling down. You really do go back to your happy place with all those happy memories :)

Im gonna go now. I've been bumming the whole day. Sunday, of course. But hey, we filmed in my room today, of Jem and Syai playing Brand New's 'The Quiet things that noone ever knows'. That was awesome! You'll get to watch it when Umie uploads it later.

Alrite everyone. Have a good week ahead.

<3

Sunday 3 February 2008

I want to blog. But i've nothing to say.

Hmm.... Lets see....

- Watching American Idol 2008 at the moment. I've been bumming around the whole day. Kind of deserve a lazy day. I've been infront of the television with my laptop on my lap since early this afternoon.

- Watched 'Cloverfield' last Friday and puked my heart out. Its a good movie, dont get me wrong. I just cant stand handheld shots for more than half an hour.

- I have to decide on a dissertation topic by end of this month. I have a couple in mind, but requires me to go back to Brunei for research and interviews. I dont mind at all ;) HEHE.

- I wana go for another Europe trip, something new with the Chubbubs, but i've no idea where to go to. Anyone?

- I miss home and the whole family *sigh* End of the term feels so far away. I'm definitely motivated to be back in time for Raya!!

Ohh, and i think this is cool..

The coolest Starbucks i've seen so far. This was in Hull, the new mall close to the Station.

I'm outtie people. Oh, the new Orange pre-movie advert at Cineworld with SnoopDogg in it is awesome. HEHE. Fo shizzle.

Good night people <3
