Lets be farmers!

I'm home ALONE right now. Just finished cleaning up the kitchen and living room. Everyone else went to Oakwood Theme Park. I would have gone if I didn't have a 4000words essay this Tuesday. Nyeh! I'm seriously mentally exhausted already, and I STILL have 4 more to do! I just handed in my Research Proposal yesterday, im glad that's done and over with. 20 more days til im free!!!

Anyhoo, life has been pretty slow lately, when all you do is work! Haven't been doing much at all. Although, i had an awesome fieldtrip to the Riverford Organic Farm yesterday. The moment we arrived there, we had our lunch. I became a vegetarian that lunch. The first 5 mins of absorbing all the veggies were alright (most probably cause i was hungry), then as i ate on, i felt like vomitting. Haha! The others berabis makan. Thank God it was free. Haha. It was nice though to try something new, and the fact that those veggies (except the asparagus apparently) were all from the farm. That definitely reduces food miles. For dessert, i had pavlova. Oh, lushhh. The thing i liked about the restaurant (they call it the field kitchen) was that everyone ate at the same time and the same food. Proper family-like lunch. Darren (the guy who gave us the tour) said that that was what they're trying to promote. That's nice :)

I forgot to borrow a camera, so i dont have nice clear pictures, just these from my phone.

I know more about organic farming now. Dapat jadi farmer! HEHE. We even got some free fresh veggies that we picked ourselves. Got some spring onions, wet garlic (which looked like spring onions) and courgette (which is now in my pot). Ohhh, and we got to go on a tractor ride :D It was a nice day out, the place was so serene. I can imagine sitting on the high fields at night overlooking other many fields and watching the stars. How nice would that be huh? *sigh*

I arrived back home around 8, where Baz and Umie were making lasagne. Nyum! Thanks guys! :) Then, they said they were gona watch 'Iron Man' at 9.50pm. I figured since i wasn't gona go out anytime soon, might as well go out. PLUS! Robert Downey Jr ah please! Oh my goshhh... that movie was awesome. Rugged berabis! I liked his character berabis. Ohh, im in love with him all over again. Haha! Sekalikan ... when we went out, turun the escalator sudah ... we said goodnight to Sean the Security Guy.. sekali ya cakap "did you watch the bit after the credits?"... sekali me, umie and baz went back up the escalator. Si farid n jem sampat lagi naik the other escalator. Sekali thank you long credits!!! HAHA. It was awesome :D I think i'll watch the movie again. hehe.

Oh, then i checked IMDB. Robert Downey Jr will be in 'The Incredible Hulk' as Tony Stark again. You know what that means? ;)

I'm gona make myself lunch now. Laters people. Mwah

Hakeemo just left today, EARLY in the morning. Glad he was here for his birthday so we could surprise you with the cake. Im sure you were surprised! :P Hope you like the presents :) Keeping the story short, Hakeemo got a cupcake suprise AND got waterballoon-ed by the Miskin Posse on midnight of his birthday. That was fun! Although, he was expecting a proper cake :P Then, the next day, we had a birthday dinner for him. Had Jem, Huda and Jerry over for that night. Hakeem got loads of presents, turning more and more aemo. Haha.

So back to work *sigh*. I feel so mentally tired already. HELP!

I'm in for a treat. Wooopeee =/ Im going crazy just thinking about it. Right now, im trying to finish up my research proposal. Actually, i dont know where to start. Nyahhh. Anyone know anything about brunei's waste management and the waste-to-enery system? =D

Aimi's birthday countdown : t-minus 6 days

Oh man, i can't wait to go back home. Two of my cousins are pregnant, another two cute little ones for the family. I can't wait!

Alhamdullilah. Two essays and one presentation down. I believe it all went well. Well, at least i hope so. I feel so relieved. Although, five more to go and another presentation in a couple weeks time. But it's okay... i can spare one relaxing night. HEE!

Btw, i bought a keyboard :) I've always wanted to buy for a while now, but they cheapest i could find (even on ebay) was 70pounds. So, when i walked back from the movies and saw that this house was selling keyboards... and fortunately... one was for 30pounds! So what the heck right? I bought it! Now, i know how to play 'Bubbly' and 'Apologize' hehehee. [Don't worry meh, its gona be passed down to Aimi before going back for good :D] Worth it lahhhh :)

Oh... and i got 61 for my Sustainability in Practice module that i handed in before easter break. Heee! :D

I dont know what else to say....... Oh, except my exam is on the 13th of May. And my last coursework is due on the 23rd. Brunei, here i come! HEHE.

Waiting for the world to change.

Homagawd! The rural planning essay is killing me! I have no flow whatsoever. I can't seem to connect my introduction to my content. And i've written the essay all over again.. 3 freakin times! Blarrghhhhhhh. I am setting tomorrow to be my last day for doing this essay. Boring sudahhhh. I have Environmental Law to do next. Nyah.

On a brighter note, the Miskin Posse had a moment last night. We had our first "family" dinner. HAHA. We are all in study-mode at the moment. Sorang2 had assignments to do. So we set up the long table in the middle of the living room and did our work together around the table. When it was time for dinner, we cleared up the table and finally had a proper dinner on a dining table. Haha. Sekadar, but i missed it. It was nice. Little things huh? :) We had another family dinner tonight, with Jem this time. Im guessing this will be go on for a while, cos everyone still has work/exams to do/study for the next month or so. I know i do!

Watched 'Dashboard Confessional Solo Acoustic' show last Friday night. Chris Carabba was awesome. That's one to cross out from my list :) It was really great. Also, it was my first gig with the Chubbs. Hehe. There was a BDSSW bbq earlier that day, but decided to skip that. Had to do my work. Sacrificed free food for work, what was i thinking??! HAHA. Then we had our annual Easter games at Roath Park the next morning. It was great. Faye was the organiser. My teammates were Ceej, Zirah, Amin, Nuar, Fadoo, Freddy, Nadia and Zae (sp?). And we were the SUPERFRIENDS! HAHA. We won 2 games and were awesome at it. Nyahahhaa.

Scribble my name on the wall

Easter break is technically over for me. Now its time to concentrate on work. 7 coursework and 2 presentations to do within just over a month. The first 2 weeks of Easter break was awesome. I got to spend time with the family and Hakeem.

Went to Leeds on the 15th to visit Chubbs and eat Subway Halal. Haha. Then we both went down to Manchester together to Aunty Nong's on the 20th. Aimi was there already, and Farah came that evening. Oh, bliss. Family loving. The next day we went to watch 'Spiderwick' in IMAX cinema. That was awesome. It looked almost 3D. My first IMAX experience. HEHE. The next day started REALLY early! We had to catch our 6am train to Glasgow and jumpa Suria!!! weee! Oh gosh, it felt like the last time i met Suria was ages agooo! What was more awesome was that our hotel was technically IN the station. So it was easy for us to buy stuff and such.

Glasgow was awesome. Maybe also because the company was awesome. [[ Shout out to Aunty Nong for EVERYTHING! THANK YOU :D ]] Edinburgh was BEAUTIFUL. We got the chance to visit the Edinburgh castle and the dungeon. It was REALLY cold that day. It was snowing, just a bit. Enough to give Farah a snowing experience. Hehe. The view from the castle was really beautiful. You should all go there. We left Glasgow on the 26th early morning. Sedih berabis tinggalkan Suria! Ya pun sedih. We would have dragged her to come down to Cardiff with us, if only she was already on holidays!

So we were back in Manchester on the 26th. Left for Cardiff on the 28th, with Aunty Nong and the kids.. and persuaded Aimi to join. She didn't have classes! :D It was fun bringing the family around Cardiff. They stayed at Aunty Ann and Unc Mohd's place. The 2nd day here, we went to Bridgend for shopping. 3rd day to Barry Island. We couldnt be more blessed with the Sunny weather. It was awesome. We went on rides, although there weren't many. Baz came along as well, cos we didn't want to leave her alone at home. The rest of the Posse were in London at that time. Last day, we visited the Cardiff Castle. Although it was my second time visiting, it was actually worth it. Cos there were some rooms that were under restoration the last time i went there and finally got to see it. Lawa lah the rooms.

Having kids around was nice. It makes you feel like a kid sometimes. Oh! We dressed Zafri up like a girl at Bridgend's Next. It was hilarious. I would post the picture, but Aimi has it. HAHAHHA.

Okay, malas sudah bercerita. Time to do work.

Btw, i changed the blog template cos the last one didnt have any archives and i tried adding the codes in but it didnt work. Blargh. So, here's to the new template :)

I miss my poojjaaaassss. I hope to be back in June. AMIN!! :))
